Chris Petersilge, Ecosystem Evangelist - iAccelerate, University of Wollongong

Chris studied entrepreneurship as part of his undergraduate degree in California, including a thesis on how to build sustainable entrepreneurship programs.

He began his career in startups on the founding team of the Cal Poly Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship. Chris went on to help startups around the world as a Global Facilitator for Startup Weekend.

He has worked with high-growth startups, including Airbnb during its launch in Australia.

At iAccelerate, the largest university-based accelerator in Australia, he leads its global Innovation Network, connecting entrepreneurs to global resources. He facilitated the launch of the Bega Valley Innovation Hub, providing education, networks, and mentors to startups in regional Australia.
