Ben Sheridan, Learning Innovation Coach/Coordinator, NIST International School

Ben Sheridan is a cofounder of 407 Professional Learning. Ben has been an educator for 15 years, most of which as been at international schools in Thailand, India, Cambodia, Korea, and Indonesia. He has worked as a classroom teacher, learning innovation coach, technology coordinator, instructional designer, university lecturer, and consultant. In addition to teaching in P-12 schools, Ben has taught undergraduate and masters level courses in educational technology and design thinking.

Ben is passionate about building professional learning experiences using sound pedagogy and innovative technology to accelerate learning. Ben has presented in person at conferences such as The iPad Summit, Learning2, EARCOS, 21Century Learning Hong Kong, Rethinking Literacy, International Symposium of Educational Reform, EdcampBKK, Edcamp Kentucky, as well as virtually for events such as the online Global Education Conference. Ben is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in educational leadership at the University of Kentucky.
