Anita Wylie, HOD: Senior Phase, Unity College

Anita Wylie graduated from the University of Natal with a B.Soc.Sci. majoring in Psychology and Sociology. She then did a postgraduate diploma in Library Science at UNISA and worked in the libraries of the Atomic Energy Corporation and the CSIR. On completing a postgraduate diploma in Education she taught at Bryanston Primary School. In 2004 she joined Unity College Special Needs School and became the HOD of the Intermediate and then the Senior Phases, and recently took the role of Acting Principal. She has particular interest in equipping learners who have special needs with life skills towards independence and employability.
