As Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer at the Winnipeg Airports Authority, Mr. Bélanger oversees all commercial activities at the airport, including Air Service Development, Air Cargo, Marketing & Sales, Real Estate, as well Communications & Public Relations. He has a proven record of exceeding profitability goals, turning around underperforming units, and driving increased revenue and market share.

Prior to moving to Winnipeg in November 2010, Mr. Bélanger held the position of President & Chief Operating Officer at Aéroport de Québec inc., where he successfully provided strategic and operational leadership as well as managed the planning and construction phases of a major terminal redevelopment project, which was opened in 2008.

Fully fluent in French and English, Mr. Belanger has attended numerous international conferences and training seminars over the years to broaden his knowledge and hone his management skills. In 2008 he received his designation as Chartered Director from McMaster University. In addition to his professional experience and educational background, he has traveled to over 115 countries around the world and holds a Commercial Pilot’s License since 1993.
