Michael Chock, Senior Director of Alliances and Airline Partnerships, Hawaiian Airlines

Michael Chock has been the Senior Director of Alliances and Airline Partnerships at Hawaiian Airlines since January 2013.  He is responsible primarily for developing strategic and tactical business relationships with codeshare and interline partners that will help enable Hawaiian to expand its reach to a broader base of customers in domestic and international markets.  His expertise at creating alliances and partnership opportunities that generate new revenue streams will be a tremendous benefit to Hawaiian as the airline continues to execute its growth plans.  With Chock’s arrival, Hawaiian launched two new international codeshare partnerships and ten interline agreements in connection with adding three new international routes to Hawaiian’s network in 2013 – 2015. 

Chock brings to Hawaiian over 22 years of domestic and international management experience with significant focus in Asia at Northwest Airlines and then Delta Air Lines following their merger. He has held senior airline positions focusing on alliance operations, interline management, Trans-Atlantic Joint Venture and global alliance development since 1996. Most recently, he served for three years as director of alliances and partnership development for SkyTeam in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.  

Chock was born and raised in Hawai‘i.  He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California and a Masters of Business Administration degree from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota.
