Masaki Takeuchi, Supervisor Market Development & Planning Office, CS Development & Planning Department, Marketing Division, Narita International Airport

Mr. Takeuchi joined NAA as a member of the technical staff specializing in architecture in April 2009 after graduating from the Faculty of Science and Technology at Keio University the previous month, and is now in his 7th year at the company.  To date, he has worked in the 4 departments below, using his expertise as a construction engineer, mainly to plan and formulate construction and renovation works for the passenger terminals and to carry out project management. 

Architecture Group, Facilities Management Department, Airport Operations Division (April 2009 - June 2010)
Responsible for terminal maintenance, and designing, ordering and supervising small-scale upgrade work. 

Facilities Planning Group, Planning Department, Corporate Planning Division (July 2010 - June 2013)
Responsible for formulating future development plans for airport facilities.  This included formulating concepts and master plans for the following projects: airport capacity expansion (to accommodate 300,000 annual movements), LCC terminal (T3), additional fixed gates in T1 and T2, corporate jet terminal (the “Premier Gate”). 

Low Cost Terminal Project Office, Passenger Terminal Management Department, Business Division (July 2013 - June 2015)
As an overall coordinator between internal and external parties for the opening of T3, Mr. Takeuchi was primarily responsible for consultations with airlines and CIQ regarding facility development aspects and project progress management. 

Market Development & Planning Office, CS Development and Planning Department, Marketing Division (July 2015 – Present)
Mr. Takeuchi continues to be responsible for various coordination duties for terminal renovation projects and, at the same time, he is also responsible for planning measures that will help improve customer satisfaction.  Specifically, he is currently involved in promoting the Fast Travel initiative, creating an attractive airport environment based on SKYTRAX audit results and studying measures in preparation for the Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics.
