Iya Magen | Head of UP

Iya joined EL AL in 1999 at the age of 23, and made it all way from the phone service representative to the Head of UP.

During the past 5 years she had been managing the largest sales branch of EL AL - the home base in Israel with overall yearly sales of 1B$.

Different positions throughout the years provided her with an experience in building incentive programs and forecasting models which enabled her to improve significantly both volumes and market share and to reduce distribution costs. 

Iya obtained her MBA from the University of Derby.

Her current position is a Head of UP (low cost brand of EL AL Airlines), which has been established in order to manage and to expand the network of UP destinations in the world.
