Atty. Tanjuatco has worked extensively in the private and public sector as a lawyer and former politician. He is currently the President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Clark International Airport Corporation (CIAC), a former US airport facility and is now one of the fastest growing airports in the Philippines. 

He is the son of the former Rizal representative Emigdio “Ding” Sumulong- Tanjuatco, who played a significant role during the Administration of former President Corazon Aquino where he was appointed in 1986 as head of a task force to oversee and to take charge of official residences and other properties belonging to the government, soon after the ouster of ex-President Ferdinand Marcos. He followed his father’s footsteps in public service as he once served as a Provincial Board Member of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan ng Rizal in 2001 to 2013 where he chaired the Committees on Land Use, Boundary Disputes and Human Rights and was also a Committee member on tourism, trade & industry, appropriations, youth & sports, education, rules and environment & natural resources.

He is a partner and administrative manager of the Law Firm Tanjuatco & Partners since 1996 and was also the legal adviser of the Philippine Football Federation and the Sports Coordinator of the Provincial Government of Rizal in 2004. 

His areas of practice included Family Law, Labor Law, Property & Real Estate, Civil and Criminal Law and Corporate Law. He was as a trial lawyer representing clients before judicial and quasi-judicial entities.

Atty. Tanjuatco acted as a Corporate Secretary to Macroasia Property Development Corporation, Macroasia-Eurest Catering Services, Inc., Macroasia Air Taxi Services, Inc. and has also provided legal advice and managed negotiations for clients before the Civil Aeronautics Board (CAB) for several Local and International Airlines.

He is a graduate of Bachelor of Arts, Major in Interdisciplinary Studies (AB IS) from the Ateneo De Manila University (ADMU) in 1991 and completed his Juris Doctor in 1995 at the ADMU College of Law. He is a member of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) and Philippine Bar Association.
