THE CEO DEBATE: Operators should play to their strengths as connectivity enablers, leaving agile players to cement their position as service innovators

  • Operators should focus on protecting their core business rather than competing for market share in content services, devices and multimedia
  • Operators cannot compete with media aggregators and so they should seek to monetize partnerships and access to their network
  • Operators do not possess the capabilities to produce or source in-demand content
  • Operator ownership of connectivity is a greater asset than currently realized

Are you FOR or AGAINST?
