Mr John Lim is the Group Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of ARA Asset Management Limited (“ARA”) since its establishment. He is a non-executive director of ARA Asset Management (Fortune) Limited, ARA Trust Management (Suntec) Limited, ARA Asset Management (Prosperity) Limited, ARA-CWT Trust Management (Cache) Limited and Hui Xian Asset Management Limited. Mr Lim is also the chairman of APM Property Management Pte. Ltd., Suntec Singapore International Convention & Exhibition Services Pte. Ltd. and the management council of The Management Corporation Strata Title Plan No. 2197 (Suntec City). In addition, Mr Lim is an independent director and the chairman of the remuneration committee of Singapore-listed Teckwah Industrial Corporation Limited, the chairman of the property management committee of the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry, the managing director of Chinese Chamber Realty Private Limited and a director of the Financial Board of the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce. He is also a member of the Consultative Committee to the Department of Real Estate, National University of Singapore.

Mr Lim has more than 30 years of experience in the real estate industry, and has received many notable corporate awards. These include Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of the Year Singapore 2012, Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of the Year – Financial Services 2012 and the Outstanding CEO of the Year 2011 at the Singapore Business Awards 2012. Mr Lim, along with the Board of Directors of ARA, is also a recipient of the prestigious Best Managed Board (Gold) Award at the Singapore Corporate Awards 2012.

Mr Lim holds a Bachelor of Engineering (First Class Honours) in Mechanical Engineering, a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering, as well as a Diploma in Business Administration, each from the National University of Singapore.
