Brooks Street Partner Scott Goldie is a 30-year California real estate industry veteran with deep expertise in finance, environmental remediation and operations. In 2015, Goldie led the acquisition of the Napa Valley Railroad (NVRR), operator of the Napa Valley Wine Train, seeing significant cash flow upsides in train operations and opportunity for future development of its under-appreciated real estate holdings. By leveraging strategic partnerships, capital improvements and differentiated product offerings, the company has significantly grown luxury excursion business under his charge. The project scope includes future development of accretive businesses such as boutique hotels, restaurants, retail, office, apartments and the potential introduction of commuter service for visitors and residents. Since 1997, Brooks Street has been the name behind some of the most successful real estate in California, with a track record of navigating complex regulatory environments and building long-term personal relationships with partners, stakeholders and the communities in which it develops. Goldie holds an undergraduate degree from George Washington University and an MBA from Kellogg at Northwestern.
