Chris Tibbetts, Group Head Digital Solutions, National Express

Chris has worked in the rail industry for over 15 Years. Starting his career as an On Board Customer Service Manager for GNER before moving to become the Head of Business Improvement. After leaving GNER Chris worked as a Management Consultant working on Franchise Bids for Stagecoach, First Group and National Express. Chris has worked for National Express for over 5 years and was responsible for technology strategy on the Essex Thameside Bid that brought Automatic Delay Repay Compensation for delays of over 2 minutes, Personalised Performance Reports and Flexible Seasons on Smartcards. Chris has been working in his current role of Group Head of Digital Solutions for the past 18 months and in this role he has been responsible for the launch of the VUER On Board WiFi and Infotainment Solution on NX Coaches, managing the role out of NX Global Customer Feedback System and supporting mobilising the new RRX Rail Concession in Germany
