Barbara Polak, Head of Customer Experience, ÖBB

  • From 2010 to 2015 I was a project manager and department manager in IBM Austria
  • I joined ÖBB at February 2015 as a senior project manager in the strategy department of ÖBB Personenverkehr (passenger transport).
  • In May 2016 I was authorized by management to set up a department for customer experience for long distance transport. Since then I lead this department and I am responsible for all projects to enhance the customer experience in our long distance trains like e.g. catering on board, wifi, onboard portal, comfort, etc.

  • Diving in: sharing our projects and learnings from previous experiences
