Abdulla Mahmood is multiple-award winning marketing professional with over 16 years of international experience in strategic marketing, corporate communications, digital marketing, strategic brand alliances and global business development.

Abdulla is on board with Al Ahli Holding Group as Director- Marketing and Business Development in 2014 and has been developing the group’s overall marketing and business development strategy across different continents covering varied business segments which includes construction, manufacturing, real estate, retail, hospitality, lifestyle, live events and entertainment. 

Last year Abdulla was amongst Asia’s top 200 influential CMOs and received the Fabulous Achievement in Marketing Excellence Award at Dubai’s Asian Leadership Awards, where he was acknowledged to lead the first ever Arab-based company to strike an unprecedented 5-film strategic brand alliance with Marvel- Disney and unveil its products at Marvel’s world premieres.

In his previous role as a General Manager of MARCOM at RAK Ceramics, Abdulla was awarded the Marketing Professional of 2013 and Corporate Communication Professional of 2012 at CMO Asia Awards in Singapore for his innovative branding and strategic marketing activities which enhanced RAK Ceramics’ global brand image and led to organization winning a series of laurels and accolades.

Previously, Abdulla has worked with some of the region’s well-established organizations, Fosroc, Commix Ltd.  and Tameer Holding playing a key role in expanding the brand reach and opening new markets for these organizations.

Abdulla is the Advisory Board Member in US-based Chief Marketing Officers (CMO) Council representing MENA region, Advisory Board Member of World Brand Congress and UAE representative on international forums that focuses on global marketing challenges.
 
Abdulla provides training and mentoring programs that involved students from various international universities such as University of Maryland and Georgetown University, USA; EDHEC Business School, France and Lausanne University, Switzerland; Birla Institute of Management and IIM-Indore, UAE
