Mr. Aklin has been working with ONYX Hospitality Group since 2003. In his role as Vice President, Development, he is responsible for expanding ONYX with particular focus on South East Asia. Mr. Aklin graduated with a degree from the Swiss Hotel Management School in Lucerne and worked in various hotel operational roles in Switzerland and the USA prior to joining ONYX. His previous responsibilities at ONYX included the role of Resident Manager of the successful Amari Palm Reef Koh Samui as well as being the group’s Corporate Director of Projects, overseeing the design coordination and operational planning for hotel openings and renovations of multiple ONYX properties.
