A graduate in Metallurgy and Materials Science from the University of Manchester. Since 2000 Brendan has been active in the Fuel Cell industry and has previously been the CEO of Ceramic Fuel Cells (Europe). From 2009 until April 2012 Brendan provided consultancy services to start-up technology and energy companies.

In April 2012 Brendan joined Acal Energy Ltd and is responsible for the commercialisation of the novel fuel cell catalyst technology developed by the company. He is a member of the Energy Industries Club and was previously a member of the Parliamentary Group on Energy Studies.
