Jayne Spink is Chief Executive of the Tuberous Sclerosis Association, the UK charity supporting people affected by the rare condition Tuberous Sclerosis Complex and the UK's only dedicated funder of TSC research.  Before joining the TSA, Jayne served as Director of Policy & Research with the Multiple Sclerosis Society, is a former Associate Director of the Centre for Clinical Practice at NICE and former Head of Genetic Science Safety and Regulation at the Department of Health.   She began her career as a post doctoral researcher, having gained PhD and BSc in Genetics.  Jayne is a serving trustee of the Association of Medical Research Charities and a member of the MHRA's Independent Review Board.  She has previously served on a number of health and medicines policy related committees including the MHRA Expert Group on Innovation in the Regulation of Healthcare.
