We're thrilled to announce our host: Jo Caulfield
Jo Caulfield is a comedian, host, and comedy writer. She has worked on some of the biggest shows, and with some of the biggest names, in British comedy.
Described by The Observer as “one of the finest female comics at work” and by The Scotsman as “quite simply, a damn funny woman” Jo can regularly be seen headlining the UK’s biggest and best comedy clubs.
Jo has been the regular warm-up performer for Have I Got News for You for many years, and has appeared as a guest on the show, as well as on Mock the Week and Never Mind the Buzzcocks. She has also appeared on Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow.
On Radio 4, Jo has had acclaimed shows including, It’s That Jo Caulfield Again, Jo Caulfield's Speakeasy and Jo Caulfield Won’t Shut Up, as well as regularly appearing on shows including The News Quiz, Just A Minute, The Now Show, and The Unbelievable Truth.
TELECOMS’ HIGHEST MARK OF ACHIEVEMENT SINCE 1999
In 1999 Total Telecom launched the first ever World Communication Awards with the winners named in Geneva during the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) World Telecom event.
The winners and categories reflected the era with prizes going to companies including Equant, World Online, and Sonera. The 'Best e-commerce service' category was won by American company stamps.com for an innovative service enabling users to purchase and print out postage stamps from the internet!
27 years on, the industry has moved on. The company names have changed, the categories have evolved, but still winners pick up the same iconic sail trophy at a gala dinner packed with their peers from the industry.
