Mr Jason Wang, Chief Executive Officer, Stamford Management

Jason spearheads the capital markets division of Stamford Management, an established Asian family office. In addition to structuring customized wealth management solutions for clients and their businesses; Jason also manages the esoteric Iridium Alpha Fund which invests in pan-Asian cyclical equities with a relevance to upstream and downstream commodity sectors. Prior to his current role at Stamford, Jason founded Iridium Asset Management in 2009 which gave rise to the inception of the Alpha Fund. Jason was also a senior proprietary trader at OCBC Bank in Singapore, where he led the expansion of their investment platform, as well as heading up the Equities Risk-Taking Committee. During his time in London, Jason was part of the investment team managing GLG Partners’ European Long/Short fund, focusing on opportunities within the basic resources and industrials space. Throughout his career, he has expressed his views via equities, commodities and their respective derivatives. Jason’s consistent outperformance arises from the employment of non-systematic, quantitative methods and forensic fundamental analysis in commodity-related securities and equities. Jason holds a BSc in Economics from the London School of Economics.
