Masterclass leader:
BILL EADINGTON is Professor of Economics and Director of the Institute for the Study of Gambling and Commercial Gaming at the University of Nevada, Reno. He also holds the Philip G. Satre Chair in Gaming Studies at UNR. He is an internationally recognized authority on the legalization and regulation of commercial gambling, and has written and consulted extensively on issues relating to the economic and social impacts of commercial gaming. He has been with the University of Nevada, Reno since 1969.
Eadington has been active with a diversity of issues related to gambling research, commercial gaming industries, casino management strategies, and gambling and public policy. He is the founder and co-moderator of the annual Executive Development Programs for senior-level gaming industry executives, which have been offered annually since 1991. He also serves on the Boards of the National Council on Problem Gambling, the Nevada Council on Problem Gambling, and the Governor’s Advisory Commission on Problem Gambling (Nevada).
