Frank Brochin is a partner of StoneWater Capital LLC, a specialized asset management firm based in New York City and run by a small group of partners with significant public and private equity investment experience. The firm was founded in 2004 and manages over $150 million in a global family of long-bias, funds of hedge fund vehicles. Frank is responsible for the firm’s Asian offering, including its Asia ex-Japan, Japan and Indian funds.

Frank was most recently a partner of Warburg Pincus, a global private equity and venture capital firm, where he worked in both the New York and London offices, making and managing direct investments in the areas of enterprise software, IT services and communications technologies. Prior to Warburg, Frank started his career as a research engineer with Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation (NTT) in Tokyo, Japan, before joining Nortel Japan as a manager of its Advanced Technology group.

Frank holds a Ph.D. from Princeton University and an M.B.A. from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration. He currently is the chairman of the board of trustees of the French-American School of New York, and has also served on several boards of directors of companies in the United States, Israel and Europe.

Adam L. Miss Tang started her career in a securities brokerage subsidiary of a ‘Red Chip’ company listed in Hong Kong. Ms. Tang joined PricewaterhouseCoopers Hong Kong in 1998 and relocated to PricewaterhouseCoopers USA in 2002. She left PricewaterhouseCoopers in July 2004 to form the Marco Polo Pure China Fund. At PricewaterhouseCoopers, she specialized in the banking and capital markets, analyzing borrowers’ credit quality, conducting audits on Chinese companies, and consulting IPO pricing for Hong Kong listings. The Marco Polo Pure China Fund is predominately invested in the Shanghai and Shenzhen Stock Exchanges via the Qualified Foreign Institutional Investors Scheme (QFII). Since July 2004, Miss Tang has been traveling across China with her research teams to visit companies which are listed on the Shanghai and Shenzhen Stock Exchanges. Her performance as the Lead Fund Manager has put her among top performers in Asia and China. Ms. Tang’s emerging market active management approach (Dark Market Management) which focuses on intense travel and contact with corporate management combined with extensive bottom-up analysis have proven to yield significant returns.

Ms. Tang is a CPA in both Hong Kong and Australia. She is a member of Global Association of Risk Professionals. She is licensed by the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission as an investment advisory and assets management responsible officer. Ms. Tang speaks and reads fluent English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
