Chris has many years’ experience in Wealth Management. Having started his career as a Financial Adviser he soon took on Director responsibility, managing an entire Financial Planning Team across six offices. He then went onto lead an organisation through the RDR transition, focusing on embedding the principles of sound Financial Planning to deliver value to clients. His lead role in founding one of the UK’s first ‘Robo Advisers’, has resulted in him being highly regarded by all those who work with him; the development itself has played an integral role in the digital revolution taking place in the Wealth Management sector today.
His reputation resulted in Chris being appointed Head of Wealth Propositions at HSBC UK. Chris is responsible for delivering integrated face-to-face, online and remote wealth propositions. Chris passionately believes an integrated approach is vital in ensuring customers’ financial planning and wealth management needs are both met and exceeded through customer led proposition design.
Chris has been a member of the Board of IFP for several years, promoting the Financial Planning profession through enhancing the financial literacy of the UK; ensuring support is available through a variety of mediums and channels.
Chris’ particular interests of areas would be customer relationships, women in investing and ESG.
