Anna Sofat is a multi-award winning Chartered Financial Planner who has been advising enterprising women and their families for 20 years. She is highly regarded as ‘the Voice of Women’s Wealth’ and has been a passionate advocate and tireless campaigner for greater diversity and inclusivity in the financial services sector. As well as advising private clients, Anna is a regular contributor to national print and broadcast media.
Anna is currently Associate Director, Wealth at Progeny, who she joined in 2019 when Progeny acquired her business, Addidi. Progeny was ranked seventh in FT Adviser’s Top 100 Advisers 2019.
Addidi, which Anna founded in 2008, featured in New Model Adviser’s Top 100 advisory firms every year between 2012 and 2018 and was the winner of Money Marketing’s Small Adviser of the Year award in 2018.
Anna was awarded the Unbiased.co.uk Financial Adviser of the Year award in 2014; she was nominated for the top female adviser award by FT Adviser in 2015; and she was named Financial Adviser of the Year at the Women in Financial Advice Awards in 2019.
Anna is a graduate of Hull University and has a Master’s from the London School of Economics. She holds both the Chartered Financial Planning and Certified Financial Planner qualifications.
