Philip is Senior Project Manager at Water & Sanitation for the Urban Poor and has been leading WSUP’s interventions in various parts of Kenya since 2013. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Water Engineering and a master’s degree in Project Planning and Management. He has extensive experience in institutional pro-poor capacity set-up and support, brokering complex neighbourhood and city-wide agreements intended to improve access to water and sanitation for the low-income consumers. Philip possesses demonstrable skills in utility management, strategic leadership and performance improvement. He also has knowledge in supporting municipalities and regional governments in formulating legal and regulatory frameworks in water and sanitation services provision. He previously worked at several non-profit organisations where he led teams in developing and managing WASH projects in development, relief, rehabilitation and emergency response contexts.
