Greg Duggan | Sustainability Director
Sustainable Water Council

Greg Duggan, Sustainability Director, Sustainable Water Council

Before co-founding the Sustainable Water Council (SWC), Greg spent 10 years as an academic researcher and project leader with an interest in interdisciplinary, collaborative action research in social-ecological systems under change. Drawing from anthropology, ethnography, ecology and systems theories, this work focused on working with multiple stakeholders on the ground to understand and co-develop realistic, contextually informed responses to real-world challenges. This passion for developing solutions that benefit all stakeholders and bring real change led to the formation of the SWC, an independent standards body and certification programme which incentives business to drive water sustainability by making a business case for adopting sustainable water practices.
