Current practices for water and wastewater treatment in Africa are insufficient to ensure safe water and basic sanitation, as there is a shortfall in technology and equipment to harvest and treat rain water.
The good news is ... This is a problem we can solve.
To address this challenge, joint efforts are needed, including transforming to green economy, innovating technologies, improving operation and maintenance, improving governance and management, promoting public participation, and establishing water quality standards. Africa needs large investment in projects and the proper infrastructure to ensure that clean is clean and safe for consumption with the assurance of and consistency in supply to households and industry.
These project e-books are designed to give insight on the water projects that are planned or underway across Africa, that will add to your knowledge and direct you to an investment that you would like to be part of.
