Dr. Zara Boland is a senior external relations and communications specialist with over 20 years international experience, including 15 years at Nestlé, where she led the veterinary and scientific external affairs team for Nestlé Purina PetCare first in Europe and subsequently for the Asia/Oceania/Pacific Region.   A qualified and registered veterinarian, Dr. Zara Boland is currently a Non-Executive Board Director for Delta Therapy Dogs and was the founding Director and CEO of Vet Voice UK, a veterinary communications consultancy. She has also held board and trustee positions with the British Veterinary Association and Born Free.   A passionate animal lover and uniquely experienced corporate and clinical veterinarian, Zara’s skillset illustrates her strong background in corporate relations, advocacy, and media engagement with a deep commitment to animal welfare.
