Tori Brown | Veterinary Technician Specialist in Emergency and Critical Care

Tori Brown is a Specialist ECC Veterinary Technician with a decade of experience in the field. She graduated from the University of Queensland, Australia in 2015 with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Veterinary Technology) and a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. She started her career at Animal Emergency Services, Gold Coast, Australia where her passion for nursing challenging and critical patients led her to pursue a Core Critical Care Nurse position at Pet ICU in Brisbane, Australia - one of Australia's leading intensive care facilities for small animals. Her dedication to the field led her to achieve her Veterinary Technician Specialist (VTS) certification in Emergency and Critical Care in 2023. Following this milestone, she founded Code Blue! Veterinary Education in 2024, a platform dedicated to empowering Veterinary Nurses and Technicians through continued education. She also pursued further studies to contribute to the training and assessment of the next generation of veterinary professionals. In addition to her clinical role, Tori is also the Clinical Education & Training co-ordinator at Pet ICU playing a key role in the mentoring and professional development of clinical staff. Some of her areas of interest include pain management, mechanical ventilation, cardiac emergencies and endocrine disorders.
