Olivia has since transitioned into a non-clinical role at the renowned pet e-commerce company, Pet Circle where she now focuses on education and media. Within her role at Pet Circle, and independently, Olivia endeavours to increase awareness and improve education around proper bird and exotic husbandry and health care for both clients and members of the veterinary industry. By creating accessible educational resources she hopes to empower veterinary professionals and in turn promote higher standards of veterinary care for these animals.  Olivia also locums on weekends and continues to treat birds, exotic pets, wildlife and small animals.

Olivia enjoys the diversity that comes with being an avian and exotics veterinarian but she particularly enjoys treating rabbits. Olivia enjoys all aspects of rabbit medicine and surgery with special interests in gastrointestinal disorders, dental disease, renal disease and improving quality of life and managing comorbidities in geriatric rabbits
