Dr Ola Jankowska is an innovator in veterinary practice leadership with post graduate qualifications in management. She graduated from Warmia and Mazury University in Olsztyn Poland in 2000 and then spent two years in practice, before travelling the world and settling in Australia for a while.

Ola moved to the UK in 2006 where she completed an internship in oncology and critical care at VRCC, now Southfields. She then gained experience in various practices across the UK before managing a small, independent practice in Kent. In 2015, Ola realised her dream to live by the sea and moved to Mersea Island and became the proud owner of Blackwater Vets. Ola’s professional interests are in oncology, cytology, feline medicine and veterinary team leadership. In 2020 (and ongoing) her focus is on the collaboration between Dr Ivor Wolstencroft and Pauline Willis, from Lauriate to create psychologically healthy teams in the veterinary professions.
