Liam completed a rotating internship with Queensland Veterinary Specialists in 2014, before undertaking a residency in emergency and critical care and a dual Masters program through the University of Melbourne.
Liam completed his thesis on “the effects of laparotomy on markers of inflammation and endothelial perturbation” in early 2019, and followed-up with passing his specialist certifying examination to become a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care. Liam has published papers in several journals, has authored chapters in ECC textbooks and has presented at national and international conferences. His primary study interests include sepsis and pulmonary physiology.
