Dini Hapukotuwa, Livestock Resident/Veterinarian, The University of Sydney

Dini graduated from the University of Sydney in 2015. Since graduating she worked in beef mixed practice in Oberon, New South Wales, and then transitioned to dairy practice in Kyabram in Northern Victoria. She then ventured overseas to the United Kingdom where she worked as a lecturer in Farm Animal Practice at the University of Liverpool. Dini has since returned to Australia to take up a residency in dairy cattle medicine in 2022. She has completed her memberships in Dairy Cattle Medicine and Management and is currently pursuing her research on colostrum management in dairy calves that aims to maximise the passive transfer of immunity in these animals whilst reducing colostrum shortages on farm.
