As a Director with over 20 years of experience in emergency veterinary medicine and leadership, I am passionate about providing high-quality care and service to animals and their owners, as well as empowering and mentoring my team of veterinary healthcare professionals. I hold a Master of Business Psychology, a Graduate certificate from the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and a Membership in Small Animal Medicine and Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care from the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists.

Currently, I am the Director at Newcastle Animal Referral and Emergency Centre, where I oversee the governance and finance operations of the leading referral and emergency centre in the region. . In 2017, I was honoured to receive the Practitioner of the Year award from the Australian Small Animal Veterinary Association for my outstanding service and contribution to the profession and the public.

I am the President of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists, and a member of the Executive Committee of the NSW Division of the Australian Veterinary Association.
