Dr David Hughes BSc BVSc (Merit) graduated from Sydney University in 2010. He immediately landed a new graduate job in a practice he had been working as a trainee and went on to purchase this practice in 2013 - Concord Veterinary Hospital. The hospital and Veterinarians in the practice have long had a strong association with The Cat Protection Society of New South Wales - something David is proud to continue. This gives David a high feline case load and a strong interest in all things feline medicine. Via this case load and experience with cats and kittens - David has developed a special interest in the clinical side of treating patients with FIP. David also has a special interest in ophthalmology which holds him in good stead for ocular and central cases of FIP. David’s greatest joy has come from seeing essentially end stage cases of FIP leave Concord Veterinary Hospital entering remission.
