RSPCA NSW is a not-for-profit animal welfare organisation dedicated to improving the lives of animals and the people who care for them. We rescue, rehabilitate and rehome animals in need, while working with communities to prevent cruelty, improve animal welfare and strengthen the human–animal bond.

Across NSW, our shelters, veterinary hospitals, behaviour and rehabilitation centres, Inspectorate and community outreach teams provide care and support to thousands of animals and pet owners each year. Our work extends beyond animals in our direct care through education, advocacy and targeted community programs that help people access the information and support they need to keep their pets healthy, safe and at home.

Working alongside veterinary professionals, councils, community organisations, volunteers and supporters, RSPCA NSW is committed to creating a future where animals are treated with compassion and respect and can enjoy a good quality of life.
