I have been working at Clarkson & Woods for 14 years and over that time have become a specialist in ecological assessments of large scale solar farms. I carry out pre-construction surveys for planning applications, provide ecological services during construction and monitoring of operational sites. I also create bespoke management p-lans and BNG assessments of solar farm developments. I have a particular interest in research and have been collaborating with Lancaster University, Solar Energy UK and Wychwood Biodiversity for many years now conducting various studies into how ecology and the environment interact with solar farm developments; this has resulted in various publications (both academic and non-academic).
