Smarter Grid Solutions, a Mitsubishi Electric Company, is a specialist control system software vendor for Distributed Energy Resources (DER), and grid connection consultancy services, with a strong focus on constraint and curtailment risk. 

Our control system product suite enables DER developers and energy service companies to monitor and control portfolios of DERs, and interface them to grids and markets. We have both site-level and portfolio-level control systems, that provide an end-to-end solution for battery and DER developers to facilitate different business models. This allows scalability, flexibility, and futureproofing. Our software is deployed on critical national infrastructure, so security is always a priority.

We also provide developers and investors with a wealth of grid connection support and reporting as part of a project bankability assessment, with a strong focus on constraint and curtailment risk. Our capabilities were born from delivery of software systems to DNOs (Distribution Network Operators) in Great Britain and North America, and as a result, we have an intimate understanding of network topologies and DER control actions taken by DNOs, developed over the last 16 years.
