Is the event live?

YES! We are so excited to host the event in-person once again.


Can I attend the event virtually or dial in?

No. There are a few speakers who have may have to give their presentation virtually, but attendees will need to be at the event physically.



All participants must provide  one  of the following:
- Full vaccination 
- Covid immunity
- Negative lateral flow test within 24 hours of arrival of the event
- Negative PCR test wthin 72 hours of the event

What are the opening hours?

Day 1: Tuesday 23rd November 2021 10:30 - 18:00 09:30 - 18:00 (Followed by Onsite Drinks Reception from, available for all)
Day 2: Wednesday 24th November 2021 09:30 - 16:30 09:30 - 17:00 (Followed by Awards Dinner at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole)
Day 3: Thursday 25th November 2021 10:00 - 15:00 09:30 - 15:00


When and where is the event?

The Solar & Storage Live show will take place 23 - 25 November at The NEC, Birmingham.


How do I get there?

By Car Located bang in the middle of the UK’s motorway network, jumping in the car is the ideal way to get to the NEC. With over 16,500 spaces available you won’t need to search for a spot Train Getting there by train is brilliantly easy as the NEC is located a five-minute walk away from Birmingham International Railway Station. Plane Birmingham Airport is literally on the doorstep of The NEC, making it easy for international visitors. Bus and Coach Over 120 National Express and Megabus coach services run daily across the UK to Birmingham Airport.

How do I receive my ticket?

Once you have completed your booking, you will receive your ticket via email straight away. If you have not received your confirmation email, please check your spam folder or contact a team member here. In the lead up to the festival we will also keep you updated with any news via email.


Where do I get my badge to enter the show?

You can present your QR code from the Swapcard app at registration.

Please bring any form of identification and your registration email to the reception desk at the start of the event. We will print your badge once you arrive.


What is Swapcard?

Swapcard is our official event platform app. You should have received your login details now.

Once you have received your details, you must download the app and login as you will need to present your QR code at registration for your badge. The app will also give you the opportunity to make connections and network with other attendees. As there will be no paper agendas at the event, you can view it on the app; build your own personalised agenda by marking the sessions you are interested in. Please note, you cannot attend the event or dial into any sessions virtually through the app. You will need to attend the event physically to participate in sessions.


Will there be security at the event?

We take the safety of our visitors very seriously and there will be security present at many points at the venue. You must always have a badge on you to be at the event.


Is there a dress code?

Our attendees typically dress in business attire at our events.


Will there be food?

There will be a café at the show serving food and beverages. The NEC also hosts a number restaurants and cafes where food and drinks can be purchased.


Is there WiFi at the venue?

Yes, The NEC provides free WiFi to all attendees.
