Hannah McCarthy, Head of Zero Bills at Octopus Energy As Head of Zero Bills at Octopus Energy, Hannah leads the company’s game-changing approach to deliver new homes with no home energy bills, through Octopus’ world-first Zero Bills tariff and low-carbon technology.  Her role focuses on bringing together developers, housing providers, installers, and policymakers to make sustainable, affordable living more accessible to everyone, across all housing tenures.  With years of experience in the house building industry, Hannah brings a deep understanding of how technology and infrastructure can drive sustainable living. She is also passionate about wildlife conservation, serving as a Trustee on the board of Whale & Dolphin Conservation.  Before joining Octopus Energy, Hannah spent over four years at BT working within the house builder environment, where she specialised in developing broadband solutions for new homes.
