Mr. Henein was appointed for 8 years as an Executive Board Member in one of the prominent Fertilizers manufacturing plants achieving the best practices and implementing renewable energies in the Nitrogen, Phosphate Fertilizers covering EU, Southeast Asia and Africa.
Furthermore, Mr. Henein has been the keynote speaker, conference chair for the Euro-Mediterranean partnership in Marseille for the cement industry in the MENA region; he has visited over 78 countries from six continents. He has attended international conferences in the cement industry, minerals, fertilizers, renewable energy and Green Hydrogen and derivatives.
Mr. Henein also represented Egypt in several economic missions and was a delegate of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the Egyptian Economic mission to East Europe countries; moreover, he was a member of the Mission 100 to UK.

Prior to his consultancy for cement, fertilizers, renewable energy, resource efficiency, green hydrogen and derivatives he has represented InnoWind - France in acquiring businesses in the renewable energy sector specifically wind projects in Egypt.
At his capacity as the founder and managing director of Hydrogen Intelligence Mr. Henein was invited by the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy for a 4 days event headed by officials from the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Embassy of the Netherlands in Egypt and the Netherlands Enterprise Agency RVO to be a guest speaker and a keynote speaker on the sidelines the Green Hydrogen Bridge 2024 He was also a panelist that have shed light on the importance of Egypt’s regulatory and policy framework to a successful Green Hydrogen, Ammonia and Methanol projects.

Mr. Henein was appointed by GIZ – Egypt on behalf of the German Federal Government – Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development BMZ to give the GIZ staff a capacity building seminar for the role of Wind Energy projects in Egypt to enhance the employment opportunities under the Employment Promotion Project (EPP) - Youth Employment Promotion & Technical Education Reform.

Lately, in October, 2024 he has been invited as a panelist in two sessions sponsored by European Union organized by the Regional Center for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (RCREEE-, Union for Mediterranean (UfM), Cario Sustainable Energy Week (CSEW). The 1st. session was tackling Financing the Green Hydrogen Economy: Strategies for Investment and Market Development.
