Mr. Henein was appointed for 8 years as an Executive Board Member in one of the prominent Fertilizers manufacturing plants achieving the best practices and implementing renewable energies in the Nitrogen, Phosphate Fertilizers covering EU, Southeast Asia and Africa.

Furthermore, Mr. Henein has been the keynote speaker, conference chair for the Euro-Mediterranean partnership in Marseille for the cement industry in the MENA region; he has visited over 78 countries from six continents. He has attended international conferences in the cement industry, minerals, fertilizers, renewable energy and Green Hydrogen and derivatives.
  Mr. Henein also represented Egypt in several economic missions and was a delegate of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the Egyptian Economic mission to East Europe countries; moreover, he was a member of the Mission 100 to UK.

Prior to his consultancy for cement, fertilizers, renewable energy, resource efficiency, green hydrogen and derivatives he has represented InnoWind - France in acquiring businesses in the renewable energy sector specifically wind projects in Egypt. At his capacity as the founder and managing director of Hydrogen Intelligence Mr. Henein was invited by the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy for a 4 days event headed by officials from the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Embassy of the Netherlands in Egypt and the Netherlands Enterprise Agency RVO to be a guest speaker and a keynote speaker on the sidelines the Green Hydrogen Bridge 2024 He was also a panelist that have shed light on the importance of Egypt’s regulatory and policy framework to a successful Green Hydrogen, Ammonia and Methanol projects. The European Union has requested Mr. Henein to contribute to the Climate Dialogue (EUCDs) Project that took place on the 29th. – 30th. April 2024 and concluded the Dialogue Event on the 8th. of May 2024
Topics he discussed and shed light on are renewable hydrogen role in achieving Egypt's sustainable development goals, and the existing national relevant standards and the challenges to meet the European Commission requirements. Mr. HENEIN has insights on the key standard requirements and relation to the EU Standards, and the standards, specifications of Global Export Markets. The implications for African producers. He has assessed and mitigating the risks attributed with the Green Hydrogen Value Chain and how to ensure safe handling of Green Hydrogen during storage and transportation.

Eventually after this extensive dialogue he has contributed to the policy paper presented to the European Union to be addressed to the Egypt EU Investment Conference that took place in 29th. – 30th. June 2024 He promotes investment and business development in Egypt by using a broad communication channel with government authorities, NGOs and private corporations.

He has +37 years of professional experience with international organizations with solid networking skills, multilingual exposure & capabilities contributed to sustainable welfare for society and businesses. He has extensive experience as a business development manager in several industries in Egypt for more than 18 years. Besides his comprehensive understanding of the cement, and fertilizer markets, he also had been involved for the last five years of his career path in emphasizing the importance of hydrogen and Ammonia production for Power-to-Gas / Power-to-Power, Power-to-Hydrogen, waste-to-energy solutions for the renewables’ industry, hydrogen for transport and the energy applications for the hard-to-abate industries. He is engaged with green funds, EMEA SEMED private equity, investment banks, private investors and multinational corporations interested in the entire Hydrogen value chain development to grab opportunities to invest/fund in Greenfield projects in Africa and EMEA region. The Organizing Committee at the New West University in Sun City, Johannesburg, South Africa, has invited Mr. Henein to lecture at the 4th. International Conference on Electrolysis – ICE 2023 that took place from August 27th. to 1st. Sept. 2023. The Secretary General of Arab Renewable Energy Commission (AREC) represented by Dr. Mohammed Al Ta'ani, has invited Mr. HENEIN to be a panel speaker at the sidelines of the 9th International Investment Forum for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (IIFREEE) that took place in May 11th. - 13th. 2024. Mr. Henein was appointed by GIZ – Egypt on behalf of the German Federal Government – Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development BMZ to give the GIZ staff a capacity building seminar for the role of Wind Energy projects in Egypt to enhance the employment opportunities under the Employment Promotion Project (EPP) - Youth Employment Promotion & Technical Education Reform. On the 7th. Feb. 2024 Mr. HENEIN was appointed an Advisory Board for the Mediterranean Hydrogen Alliance based in Spain. Early 2024, OECD and UNIDO invited Mr. HENEIN to share his insights and engage and contribute in the event and stakeholder meeting "open dialogue and encouraging detailed discussions among private sector stakeholders regarding the challenges and potential for developing low-carbon hydrogen in Egypt.   Lately, in October, 2024 he has been invited as a panelist in two sessions sponsored by European Union organized by the Regional Center for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (RCREEE-, Union for Mediterranean (UfM), Cario Sustainable Energy Week (CSEW). The 1st. session was tackling Financing the Green Hydrogen Economy: Strategies for Investment and Market Development. The 2nd. Session he has been involved in discussions for the development of Green Hydrogen projects in Egypt and the importance of renewable energy resources (solar energy / wind power) to be utilized for Green Hydrogen development.
