Sophie Wright is the General Manager for Australia and New Zealand at OpenSolar, bringing years of expertise in renewable energy, business leadership, and financial strategy. Previously, she served as CEO of Electrify Victoria and Geelong Electric Vehicle Chargers, playing a pivotal role in advancing clean energy solutions across the region. With a career in the solar industry since 2019, Sophie is also a founding Director of Australian Women in Solar Energy (AWISE), advocating for greater diversity and empowerment in the sector. She is a CEC Accredited Designer and a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA), combining her technical expertise with a strong financial acumen. Passionate about demystifying solar for consumers, Sophie is committed to accelerating Australia’s transition to renewable energy through the electrification of homes, businesses, and transport. She is driven by the mission to make clean energy accessible, practical, and a catalyst for a sustainable future—both locally and globally.
