Yen Vu, Former Head of Marketing, Zalora

After graduating from the London School of Economics Yen Vu moved back to Vietnam and spent 6 years in banking and finance starting from investment banking to FX trading. She then embarked her career in lifestyle and e-commerce by becoming one of the youngest senior managers of ZALORA as Head of Marketing. Yen’s scope revolved around building branding strategy, partnership network as well as optimizing online marketing channels. 

Currently, Yen is with AGODA as Associate Director, helping the team to grow their business in Vietnam market. 

Outside of work, Yen is an active social leader, including organizations like the Global Shapers by the World Economic Forum, which focuses on youth leadership and education projects. Yen was honored to represent Vietnamese youth to welcome British Prime Minister – David Cameron – in the first official visit of a UK’s serving PM to Vietnam – July 2015.
