Based in Dubai, UAE, Tarek Moussawer leads the strategic development and evolution of the Virgin Megastore brand throughout the MENA region including the UAE, Qatar, Egypt, Oman, Bahrain and Jordan. 
 
Since joining the Virgin Megastore team in 2007, Tarek has helped strengthen the brand name and image across the region, contributing to its successful expansion across 33 stores in 6 countries. Through his innovative approach, Virgin Megastore saw the development of its award-winning omni-channel experience, including the launch of the brand’s e-commerce website, industry-leading ticketing service and engaging loyalty program. Tarek was actively involved in the strategic addition and roll out of new store concepts and departments which transformed the brand into the region’s leading entertainment lifestyle retail destination. 
 
Prior to his role at Virgin Megastore, Tarek worked in finance, managing electronic channels at Byblos Bank in Beirut, Lebanon. 
Tarek graduated with an MBA from the American University of Beirut with a focus on Finance, Marketing and Business Ethics.  He is of Lebanese & French nationality and speaks fluent English, Arabic and French.
