Patrick Bousquet-Chavanne, Chief Executive Officer, Emaar Malls PJSC

Mr. Patrick Bousquet-Chavanne, Chief Executive Officer of Emaar Malls, joined the company in August 2018. 
He brings to Emaar Malls thirty years of extensive leadership experience in the international branded consumer goods and luxury retail industries in London, Paris, and New York, with proven expertise in enhancing business performance and customer experience in a multi-channel retail environment. 
As CEO of Emaar Malls, he leads the transformation of its retail portfolio of local, regional and international shopping malls, as well as digital assets, reinventing malls as a combination of physical and digital to offer consumers the most compelling shopping and entertainment experiences. He is also responsible for ensuring effective strategy development and execution, to achieving the business growth ambition of Emaar Malls.
A strong advocate of advanced analytics and insight to improve customer experience, Mr. Bousquet-Chavanne was previously Executive Director – Customer, Marketing, and Digital at Marks and Spencer PLC, the multinational upmarket retailer headquartered in London. A key marketer at M&S from 2012 to 2016, he has served as the Company’s Corporate Director of Strategy Implementation and New Business Development, and as Executive Director of Marketing and Business Development and Executive Director Marketing and International.
From 1998 to 2008, he spearheaded the growth of Estee Lauder Inc, the manufacturer of skincare, makeup, fragrances and haircare products headquartered in New York where he was Group President of Specialty Brands & Designer Fragrances, preceded by Group President of Estee Lauder & MAC and Group President International.  Previously, he supervised the global Travel retail activities of the Group.
Earlier in his career, at Parfums Christian Dior, an L.V.M.H. affiliate, Mr. Bousquet-Chavanne served as Executive VP of International Operations.
Mr. Bousquet-Chavanne is an MBA graduate of the Krannert Graduate School of Management at Purdue University and the Stanford University Graduate School of Business, where he attended the Executive Program in Strategy and Organization. He is a Member of the Board at Brown-Forman Inc since 2005 and has served as a Director of HSNi, an interactive multi-channel retailer in the USA, as well as on the Advisory Board for the world-renowned New York City Ballet. 
He is an Honorary Professor in Marketing at the British School of Fashion, the recipient of the Glasgow Caledonian University’s Lifetime Achievement in Business Award, 2016, and a former member of the Retail Leadership Group for The Prince’s Trust, a charity in the United Kingdom founded by Charles, Prince of Wales, to help vulnerable young people get their lives on track.
