Mudit Saxena has worked in Retail banking in 5 countries in Middle East and Asia over the last 25 years with experience in both Islamic and Conventional banking . Currently he is the Head of Retail at Commercial Bank of Dubai (CBD) . The key responsibilities involve transforming the Islamic bank as it is one of the pillars of growth for the bank . The transformation includes building a Digital proposition , enhancing Sales and Service capability , setting up new distribution channels , launching new products , improving customer and employee engagement amidst other initiatives . Over the last 18 months the business has been doubled in size and is well poised to take advantage of the opportunities in the future . In Oman he was the Head of Retail with Bank Dhofar , where he lead the transformation initiative and worked with Booz Allen where the bank moved from the No 5 position to the No 2 position in two years. In the Middle east he started his career with Emirates Bank (ENBD) as the Head of Products and Marketing where he worked with Mckinsey to transform the bank into a Retail powerhouse .Before coming to the Middle east in 2002 , he was the Head of Marketing and Internet banking with HDFC bank in India ( Rated by Forbes Asia as the top 50 companies and Best Asian Bank by Finance Asia) .
