Khawahja Usman | Senior Vice President – Head of Core Banking

Mr. Usman is currently heading the Core Banking Implementation Project at Bank of Khyber, Pakistan. He has recent track record of successfully delivering Large Banking Projects to transform the banking services for internal & external customers and to improve operational efficiencies through automation of internal processes of the Bank.  
Prior to joining Bank of Khyber recently, he worked as Head of Project Management Office & IT Operations at Summit Bank Pakistan having 200 branches and 250+ ATMs across Pakistan. He led all IT Projects in the bank including Core Banking Implementation and in-house software projects. Some of the key projects undertaken in his leadership include, Core Banking Implementation, Seamless Conversion of Bank’s Conventional Business into Islamic Banking, Biometric Verification Process and many other business and regulatory projects involving Retail and Corporate Banking. 
Mr. Usman is an MBA with specialization in Banking & Finance and has 17 years of multi-functional experience across various domains in Banking and Information Technology. He is associated with the banking industry of Pakistan since last 15 years. 
Mr. Usman started his banking career in 2003 and has worked in number of local and foreign banks including Faysal Bank Pakistan, Albaraka Bank (formerly Burj Bank Limited) and Summit Bank at senior positions in Banking Operations and Information Technology. He has successfully delivered major banking projects throughout his career in Banking and Information Technology domains.
