Flavio Leoni, Head Of Global Sales For Middle East And Africa, Accor Hotels

Flavio is the Vice President Global Sales Middle East & Africa overseeing a portfolio of
more than 272 hotels spanning 34 countries.
With over 20 years of international experience across range multinational disciplines,
including Hospitality, Financial Services and Consumer Goods, Flavio’s began with
Unilever in Italy. Successive leadership roles soon followed with Europcar, where he
forged a solid understanding of the Mobility market to American Express, acquiring an
extensive knowledge of the industry of Banking and Financial services.
Flavio joined AccorHotels in 2008, and has held progressive roles from Business Travel,
MICE and Leisure in Italy as Head of Global Sales before moving to Spain & Portugal
covering a wider responsibility as Vice President Sales, Distribution & Loyalty based in
Madrid.Throughout the years, his scope has widened to include Global Sales,
Distribution, Marketing and Loyalty in the Middle East,
He has a natural talent for team restructuring and development in multicultural
environments in all aspects of the business, from Strategic Planning, Sales, Distribution
& Marketing Finance Consulting, Project Management and Technology & Innovation.
Flavio holds a Master Degree in Statistics & Economic Science and a Post Graduate
Degree from the European School of Economics in Rome.
