David Ashford, Chief Information Office, The Entertainer

David Ashford is the Chief Information Officer at the ENTERTAINER, where he is responsible for the company’s e-business strategy and development.
He led the transformation of the ENTERTAINER from a print-based publishing company to a data-driven 100% digital company with the launch of the award-winning app in 2013. To date customers have redeemed about 20 million ‘buy one get one free’ offers and saved about AED 1.5 billion on their phones.
Innovation, digital evolution and social media initiatives continue to drive the company’s vision and development. Big data is at the heart of the company’s rapid growth.
David has a BA Hons degree in Pure Mathematics and an MBA from Henley Management College.
