Alvaro is an Executive Director in the Private Equity team with Gulf Capital, a leading alternative asset management company focusing primarily on late-stage control buy-outs, growth capital, real estate development and private debt business.
With nearly twenty years of experience across Europe and the MENA region and with a strong focus on TMT investments, Alvaro has worked across transaction execution, post-acquisition management and advisory roles. Before Gulf Capital, he co-founded BECO Holdings, Dubai-based early-stage investment firm focused on digital businesses in the MENA region, such as Careem, PropertyFinder and SellAnyCar.  
Alvaro also held previous positions with Diamond Cluster International, Dubai, Value Partners SpA., Italy and Booz Allen & Hamilton, Europe.  
Alvaro has a Master in Business Administration from MIT Sloan School of Management, Massachusetts, USA.
