Alain Kaddoum, General Manager, Swisslog

Alain Kaddoum is the General Manager of Swisslog Middle East LLC, intralogistics provider that delivers robot based and data driven automation solutions for customers for a wide range of industries including food & beverages, retail, e-commerce, pharmaceuticals, spare parts as well as third party warehouses and distribution centers.
Having worked for Swisslog for more than two years, and in the engineering industry for almost a decade, Kaddoum brings a wealth of experience and industry expertise to his new role as General Manager.
Prior joining Swisslog, Kaddoum has worked for Masdar Institute of Science and Technology, UAE, where he led a research team and worked on development of advanced non destructive testing and inspection protocol for the Aerospace industry. 
Mr. Kaddoum aims to directly drive and support the sales and business teams, developing strategies to support uptake of the company’s automation solutions for forward-thinking customers in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and bordering regions, with the aim to establish growth strategy and drive its leadership position in warehouse and distribution solutions throughout the region.
Alain Kaddoum holds a Master’s degree in automatics, informatics and decisional systems from INP Toulouse, France, and B. Eng. in electrical and automation from the INP-ENSEEIHT, in addition to other academic accomplishments and certifications. 
Alain Kaddoum is fluent in Arabic, French and English.
